Factory Foundation and Transportation Access"&": Lessons Learned from ""Getting on the Bus First and Paying the Price Later""

If I had to say what's most easily overlooked by customers yet has the most serious consequences, it would definitely be the load-bearing capacity of the factory floor"&". I've seen equipment arrive at the factory gate only to discover that the floor's load-bearing capacity is insufficient, forcing temporary work stoppages for rectification and delays of one or two weeks in the construction period.

Equipment Weight and Foundation Requirements

Our equipment is 100% non-standard customized; different specifications can vary in weight by tens of times.

During the design phase, we will provide a **equipment foundation layout dra"&"wing**, indicating: **Total equipment weight, maximum single-piece weight and dimensions** **Anchor bolt locations and foundation pit dimensions** **Concrete grade requirements (e.g., C30, C35)** **Strict requirements for foundation construction** **Co"&"nstruction according to the foundation layout drawing; ensure concrete is fully cured to design strength** **Curing period: at least 21 days in summer, at least 28 days in winter** **Installation on surfaces with insufficient load-bearing capacity is st"&"rictly prohibited** **Installation on the second floor must be calculated by a professional architectural design unit to determine the floor load.** **** #2c5aa0;"">Transportation Access Confirmation Checklist

Confirm the following at the begi"&"nning of the project:

  1. Are the height and width of the factory gate sufficient?
  2. Is the turning radius large enough?
  3. Is the internal passageway space in the workshop sufficient?
  4. Are there any obstructions such as p"&"ipes or cable trays above the passageway?
  5. Is the crane's lifting capacity and hoisting height sufficient?

Special Reminder: If there a"&"re difficulties with the transportation access, consider disassembling the equipment into smaller pieces for transportation or contact our company in advance to raise the issue. We will fully consider this during production. Compared to temporarily openin"&"g hoisting openings or renting large truck cranes, advance planning is always better than scrambling.
