Integrated Carbonization/Graphitization Experimental Furnace for

Equipment Positioning: Specifically designed for research on gas diffusion layer (GDL) materials for fuel cells, supporting continuous temperature-stage processing of carbon paper and carbon cloth. Core Capabilities: Integrates low/medium/high-temperature carbonization and ultra-high temperature graphitization up to 3200°C, offering all-in-one functionality for deep modification of carbon paper. Laboratory-Friendly: Features a compact modular design (full-range temperature measurement up to 3200°C), equipped with the latest IGBT power supply and fully automatic one-touch door opening, ensuring minimal harmonic interference and exceptionally simple operation.

Introduction

With the rapid advancement of fuel cell technology, performance requirements for gas diffusion layer (GDL) materials such as carbon paper and carbon cloth  have become increasingly stringent. Yuanhang Industrial Furnace, in deep collaboration with renowned domestic research institutions and universities, has developed this high-temperature experimental furnace integrating both carbonization and graphitization functions. By precisely controlling low-temperature, medium-temperature, high-temperature carbonization, and ultra-high temperature graphitization stages, it significantly enhances the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and thermal stability of carbon paper.

    Dual Precision Temperature Measurement: Equipped with both thermocouple and two-color infrared pyrometry, ensuring greater accuracy in low-temperature ranges and enhanced stability in high-temperature ranges.
    Silent IGBT Power Supply: Compared to traditional power supplies, it offers quieter operation, higher efficiency, and lower harmonic interference, making it ideal for installation in research buildings.
    Modular Integration: Highly integrated power supply, water cooling, furnace body, and protection systems, with a compact footprint supporting installation on upper floors.
    One-Touch Automatic Door: Optimized design for researchers, eliminating manual operation of the furnace door and insulation cover through fully automated equipment functionality.

Process

The system supports up to 20 selectable heating process curves and is fully automated throughout the entire process.
