I. Importance of Pressure Control

At high temperatures, if there is a pressure difference or unstable gas flow inside the furnace, it can cause定向 escape of small molecule gases generated from the pyrolysis of graphite precursors (such as PI film). This gas flow can interfere with the orderly stacking of carbon layer planes, creating defects and significantly reducing the thermal conductivity of the final product.

II. Our Core Technology: Dynamic Pressure Balance System

To address this issue, our equipment is equipped with a high-precision dynamic pressure balance system:

  • Precise Gas Inlet: At one end of the furnace, gas inlet is controlled through a high-precision mass flow controller (MFC), ensuring stable gas flow and constant flow rate.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: A highly sensitive pressure sensor is installed in the middle of the furnace chamber to monitor internal pressure in real time.

  • Intelligent Exhaust: At the other end of the furnace, exhaust is controlled through an electric regulating valve. Based on feedback from the pressure sensor, the system adjusts the exhaust valve opening in real time and automatically, stabilizing the furnace pressure within the set range (such as slight positive pressure 500-1500Pa).

III. Achieved Results

This system creates an extremely stable, disturbance-free pressure environment within the effective heating zone throughout the entire graphitization process, creating ideal conditions for the ordered rearrangement of carbon atoms. This enables the production of high-quality graphite sheets with thermal conductivity approaching theoretical values.
