Polymer Infiltration and Pyrolysis (PIP) Furnace for Carbon-Cera

Core Process: Utilizing the PIP (Polymer Infiltration and Pyrolysis) method, densification of carbon-ceramic composites is achieved through vacuum impregnation and high-temperature pyrolysis, with operating temperatures up to 2300°C. Main Applications: Specifically designed for the fabrication of high-performance carbon/carbon and carbon-ceramic brake discs used in automobiles, high-speed trains, and aircraft. Suitable for forming large, complex structural components. Intelligent Control: Equipped with a dual temperature measurement system combining high-precision infrared and thermocouple sensors, featuring intelligent PID programmed temperature control (±0.1°C) to ensure consistent pyrolysis quality for each batch of products.

Introduction


The carbon-ceramic PIP sintering furnace developed by Yuanhang Industrial Furnace is a new type of ultra-high temperature equipment, primarily used for the sintering and preparation of carbon-ceramic composites and carbon/carbon composites.

PIP Method (Polymer Infiltration and Pyrolysis): An organic polymer precursor is dissolved or melted, then impregnated into the fiber preform under vacuum or pressure. After drying and solidification, high-temperature sintering pyrolysis is performed. This process offers significant advantages, including relatively low preparation temperatures, the ability to form complex large-scale components, and excellent material properties.
